I feel honored to be a part of this review and giveaway through MomSelect and Hallmark. This is the 25th anniversary of Rainbow Brite. Without making myself too old, I will say that I do remember Rainbow Brite but did not own one as I was past the doll stage when she was released. There are several things that I like about Rainbow Brite. I like that this doll is a 9.5 inch size and easy for little hands. The dolls are also proportioned well as they are girls not women. Their clothing is also more conservative and appear to be easier for children to dress and undress the dolls without parent assistance. http://www.rainbowbrite.com/. I think this toy encourages more imaginative play rather than pleas for the newest car, house, boat, condo, mall etc accessory. I would say the age of children that would most enjoy this doll would be 3-8 yo's but that is just my opinion. Older girls my enjoy them just as well as they are very cute and original. but will also be available soon at Toys R Us and Target. I will say that I've noticed a wide variety in prices on Amazon but can only imagine that is because this is a 25th Anniversary addition.
